Young Charlie Martin joined with cousin to follow the gold rushes in Colorado and then in Montana. They are successful and becoming rich when the cousin is murdered by road agents. Charlie grief turns to hate causing him to join the vigilantes in Montana Territory. His bitterness leaves him during a blizzard and he marries the love of his life.
